Full Time English Instructor at a Private Jr/Sr High School (All girls school)

Contract period:
April 1, 2021 until March 2022 (Contract renewal possible up to 5 years due to personnel regulations of the Shoin Educational Foundation)

Location:
Near Shin-Kobe station on Sanyo Shinkansen Line (10 min by bus)
15-minutes walk from Nada station(JR Kobe line) or Ojikoen station(Hankyu Kobe line)

Grade level:
Junior and Senior High School students
*English class for elementary pupils

Schedule:
5 days a week except Sunday in general. Less than 40 hours a week on average under the One-Year Variable Working Hours System.

Working hours:
8:15-16:15 (8 hours. May vary depending on the day)

Duties:
Solo teaching / Team teaching (split classes)
14 lessons per week in general including class for elementary pupils
Student assessment/Making tests/Voice recording for listening exam/Student Essay correction
Assistant teacher of HR & Club activity.
etc.

Compensation and Benefits:
Monthly base of 252,000 yen
Adjustment allowance 10,100 yen per month
Bonus of the equivalent to 3 months’pay
Transportation fee will be reimbursed
Social Insurance (Health Insurance, Pension, Unemployment Insurance)

Requirements:
Professional, positive, flexible, cheerful, and energetic. Must be a Native English Speaker
Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
