《Job Description》
- Providing English conversation lessons for high school students to adults who plan to study or work abroad in the future;

- Unlike ordinary English schools, our curriculums are designed according to the type of study abroad plan, e.g., job interview practice for working holidays or overseas internships, and presentation practice for preparation before enrolling at a college or university overseas.

《Salary》
250 000-350 000
15 hours deemed overtime work pay is included.

《Required skills/experiences》
・English teaching experience (Preferably 3 years of teaching experience with adult students)
・General PC skills (PPT/Excel/Word)
・English proficiency (one of the following):
TOEIC score 850 or above /Eiken Level 1 or above /TOFLEIBT score 90 or above /IELTS 8.5 /Cambridge Exam /Overseas university degree
・References (at least 2)

《Preferred qualities》
・Certifications (TESOL/TEFL )
* Japanese language is welcome but not mandatory.
・Experience of studying abroad or working holiday program for over 6 months
・Basic computer & class operation skills using Google Drive, Microsoft Office, etc.

《Hours》
Depending on shift: Monday-Friday 10:00-19:00 or 13:00-22:00 (1-hour break)
Saturday & Sunday - 10:00-19:00 (1-hour break)
※ 8 hours a day x 5 days a week = 40 hours a week - occasional overtime work may be needed depending on the courses you will be teaching.
Workday will be 5 days a week

・ Salary raise (twice a year) - based on your performance & company’s evaluation system

・First 6 months of a trial period, during this period 1-month employment contract will be signed every month. After a trial period of 6 months, If both parties agree, we will promote you to a permanent position. *Depending on your performance we can consider the possibility to promote you to a permanent position earlier than 6 months.

Current address: 6 Chome-27-30 Shinjuku, Shinjuku City, Tokyo 160-0022 Shinjuku Eastside Square, East tower, 11th floor
Access: 1-minute walk from Higashi-Shinjuku Station (Exit A3) on the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line and Toei Oedo Line.

《Annual holidays》
1st year: 130 days/year in total⇒ 120 days (11 special paid vacations) + 10 days (regular paid vacations)
2nd year: 134 days/year in total⇒ 123 days (14 days of special paid vacation) + 11 days (regular paid vacation)
3rd year and thereafter: 137-145 days/year in total⇒125 days (16 days of special paid vacation) + 12 to 20 days (regular paid vacation)
