We are a global company (but a small office) providing PR, Marketing, Office Representation and GSA services in Japan for four types of client: Tourism Commissions, Trade Organizations, Airlines, and Hotels. We also provide PR services for Travel related companies such as airlines and hotel groups.
Typically you will be working with bilingual Japanese and non-Japanese members of our Travel Trade, Trade Promotion, PR, and Aviation GSA teams, helping them to craft documents in professional English. Materials that you may write, compile, or edit may range from Client Monthly Reports, to Press Releases, Marketing Presentations, Industry Reports, Brochures, Website & Social Media Content, to collateral and tools used in tourism events, embassy gatherings, trade shows, and in rarer cases, even e-mails.
You are a team player who can work independently, manage your time and juggle projects, and you are familiar with Japanese as well as international business practices. You are curious and looking to learn about new industries, new people, new places, and clients and you are comfortable working in a multi-national environment with respect for the many cultures we represent, and which are represented in our teams.
You are meticulous and careful about details, but efficient and swift in working with the written word. You should be familiar with regular editorial conventions, with the versatility to work with formal, official, as well as 'marketing' and regular communication written styles.
Office hours (in Ichigaya) are from 9:30-5:30. Overtime will sometimes be required, but work-life balance is well protected. We are currently on a hybrid model (3 days in office/2 days remote), but this will change as circumstances change.
