NOVA Holdings Co.Ltd. is looking for Assistant Language Teachers to teach English in Junior high schools in Adachi Ward, Tokyo for an immediate start. We are seeking an enthusiastic team-player who has a passion for teaching English and is professional in all aspects of behavior, as well as flexible, cheerful, and energetic.

≪Duties≫
・Be able to team teach and solo teach English lessons to classes ranging from 25 to 40 students.
・Assist Japanese English teachers with constructing lesson plans, original activities, and building curriculum.
・Participate in outside of class activities (Other subjects, Clubs, Sports Day, Culture Festival, etc)
･Coach and help students to prepare for speech contest
･Build relationships with students, faculty and the surrounding community.

≪Requirements≫
・Native speaker of English
・Bachelor`s degree
・Teaching experience (ALT experience strongly preferred)
・Basic Japanese speaking ability preferred
・Valid residence/visa status **(Tourist, Student or Designated Activities Visas are not accepted)
・Professional attitude, team-player, flexible, cheerful, and energetic
・Punctual and Time diligent.
・Ability to communicate with Japanese teachers, students, and company representatives in a
professional manner.
･Currently living in Tokyo or a prefecture adjacent to Adachi Ward. (Out of area applicants can still apply but must be able to move before the contract start date.)
*TESOL/TEFL qualification or other Teaching qualifications preferred

≪Remuneration≫
・Junior high school 12,000 yen per working day
・Transportation expenses up to 1,200 yen per working day
・Regular working hours per day are from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. including 60min break

≪Contract type:≫
・Junior High school
・2 days a week (Mon and Thu)　
・Days off correspond to the school calendar
・Contract term is from Sep 27th, 2021 to Feb 26th, 2022
