A fun and fulfilling job teaching children (ages 6 months to 12 years old) through conversation, play, and game-based language teaching.

Our class sizes are small with 1-4 students per class.
Support staff is always on call for backup support during lessons.
Our classrooms are comfortable and are spacious to allow for active play.
We have a large collection of toys, games, and custom language activities.

Details
Work five days a week. Sunday and Thursday off.
1-5 lessons per day. The current schedule has 15 lessons
Lessons are 70 minutes so that they can contain time for motivating play and games.
Will provide or renew your work VISA
Will provide full national insurance coverage

Optional housing is available: an older, furnished, four room (3DK), two story house with backyard and garden in a quiet residential neighborhood walking distance from our school. Rent: ¥45,000 plus utilities per month with no "key money" down payment required. You may also choose to use the house temporarily as you get settled and look for your own place.

Since we would like to start training immediately, we are offering moving-support to help our new teacher get situated in our staff housing quickly. The extent and plan of the moving support will be negotiated after the interview process. It would be ideal to have our new teacher present at our school in early April, so that he/she can spend a week of afternoons getting orientated through observation of the lessons of our current staff.

Requirements
Applicant must be a skilled native English speaker from a native English speaking country.

Due to the current border restrictions, we can only hire applicants who are currently in Japan, have a re-entry permit, or a right to a dependent VISA.

Peak is in a beautiful and quiet family oriented neighborhood at the base of green mountains with wonderful hiking trails. However it is very near the center of Hiroshima City.
Hiroshima is a wonderfully sized city to live in as a foreigner. It is big enough to have a very large and active social community of English speaking expats, yet small enough that it is very easy to connect with people and make many international and Japanese friends. Enjoy the convenience of city life with a bustling nightlife, public facilities, sports teams, Costco, etc.. with a comfortable small-town feeling... the air is fresh and always a river, mountain, or park is in view.
