We are seeking a native English speaker to work as a full-time or part-time staff member for an English open learning center at a university in Nerima.

The main job responsibilities include the following:

Free Conversation: Casually interacting with students, student staff and interns on a variety of topics in English. Managing student staff and interns.
Activities: Conducting a variety of culture and language-related activities and workshops. Activities vary by month, and staff are responsible for preparing and promoting the event.
Cooking Classes: Deciding on simple recipes for each month and conducting cooking classes.
English Lessons: Preparing and conducting one-one-one and group English lessons.
Special Events: Planning and facilitating special events, such as seasonal festivals and holiday parties.

Requirements:

Candidates should...
- be creative, approachable, and energetic, with a sense of how to engage in and facilitate conversation with university students, both Japanese and international.
- be willing to work in a dynamic environment with university professors, university staff, company staff, and Japanese and international student staff.
- have an interest in cooking.

The employment contract will be for the spring semester with chance for renewal for the fall semester in the next year.
