Full-time English Teacher at Secondary School

Mita International School (JHS & SHS) seeks full-time English teacher to teach Literature and Composition classes for returnee and other high-level English speaking students. Teachers will also serve as homeroom teachers, club supervisors, and function as a full member of the faculty. Mita International School has a unique professional environment with Japanese and international staff working closely together.

Location: 5 minute walk from Yoga Station on the Den-en-toshi Line.
Working hours per week: 40 hours.
Hours and days: 8:20-17:05, 5 days a week (45 minute lunch break)
Degree: Candidates should hold a university or higher level degree.
Desirable qualifications: Master's degree, teaching license, TESOL, CELTA.
Experience: At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
Other benefits: 10 days paid holiday leave, biannual bonuses, transportation allowance, and health insurance. Full-time employees are eligible to receive a permanent contract after the first year.
