ECC Corporate Relations Division is seeking part-time English teachers for various locations in the Kanto area for our university programs and business classes for a variety of days and times throughout the year.

IMMEDIATE NEED:

We currently have an opportunity at our University Writing Program in central Tokyo.

Days: Mondays to Fridays, 9:00-17:00
Start: October 2nd,
Finish: January 31st, 2025
Payment: 19,000 Yen per day

This is a semi-full position per semester employment.

There is a possibility of continuing from April 2025 based on performance and schedule availability.

This is a well-organized ESP academic program that requires a strong command of written and spoken English. Teachers will need to help students organize their writing and be able to explain English grammatical nuances.

ONGOING NEED:

Opportunities are available both online and on-site with schedules to fit yours throughout the year. The business classes do not follow an academic calendar and can start at any time.

SCHEDULING:

Teachers can make their own schedules based on availability and company needs. You can do one class per week or multiple classes over multiple days.

These course focus on giving every opportunity for the students to engage in English through communicative classroom activities.

PAYMENT:

3,530 yen per hour (plus a 500 yen per hour taught completion bonus depending on the assignment).


TRAINING:

ECC provides paid core training as well as follow-up training sessions. We also offer regular support and guidance regarding lesson planning and problem-solving in the classroom.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include teaching and other duties related to your assignments.
