<Work>
The successful person will teach English in the junior high and the senior high and also become a homeroom teacher. The work includes but it is not limited to teaching the subject, take charge of homeroom activities, support students after school, conduct student guidance, coach club activities, chaperone the trips, and other required duties.

<Requirements>
Characteristic Dimension:
a discerning observer, a trustworthy communicator, a good listener, and a committed supporter of a complex and multi-cultural school community.

Professional Dimension:
a valid teaching license to teach the respective subject (we do not regard TEFL/TESOL as a certificate)
able come to Ota area at least a couple of days before April 1, 2020
have at least Bachelor's in English from a university of a country in which the first language is English
do not fall under the disqualifications stated in Article 9 of the Japan School Education Law or any other cases which may affect the teachers’ license approval

<Preferred Skills>
Experience of teaching for 5 years or more
IB experience
Understanding of Japanese school system

<Working Hours>
8:15am (must be at the morning briefing at 8:15am) until 5:00pm
There may be times teachers have to teach or coach students after school.
Working days are generally in accordance with the school calendar.
