Full Time Private JHS（到期)

S-link is seeking a teacher for a full time direct hire teaching position in a private junior/senior high school in the Tokyo area. We will be screening potential candidates for an introduction directly to the school. The school will select the successful candidate from those we introduce.

This position will start April 1st 2020. The working hours will be Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00. There may be a need to work some off days when there are special events such as school festivals or ceremonies. The school will have standard holidays of about 5 days in each of the Spring, Summer and Winter seasons. In addition to this staff will start with 10 paid days of leave per year.

The class roster will include 14 lessons per week. In addition to this they will have normal school duties such as homeroom supervision, club activity and other school management duties.

Salary will be based on age and years of experience. The sample we have to work with is that of a 30 year old teacher with 7 years of full time experience. This person would receive 4.9 million yen a year. The teacher will also have their travel expenses paid as well as be enrolled on the schools social insurance program (Shigaku Kosai).

The interview process will include an initial interview in Shibuya followed by resume screening by the school and a final interview shortly afterward. This is a serious job for a serious teacher. Candidates should have knowledge about national standards for English education in Japan.
