※You will be introducing Japanese culture to readers worldwide!
grape Japan is a website dedicated to sharing interesting content related to Japan, ranging from the country’s most beautiful traditional aspects to its popular modern sub-cultures. As part of our team, you will be asked to write articles that introduce such content in English. This includes, but is not limited to, covering Japanese social media trends, translating Japanese articles, field-reporting, conducting email interviews and constructing English language articles that introduce interesting aspects regarding Japan to the rest of the world. If you have a passion for writing, telling stories, and have knowledge and interest about Japan, we would love to hear from you!
grape Japan is a Japan-based web media site operated by grape Co., Ltd., a member of the Nippon Broadcasting Group within the Fujisankei Communications Group.
■ Additional Requirements:
・Must have a valid working visa in Japan (students are welcome too)
・Legaly working age
■ Preferred Qualifications and Attributes:
・Positive and proactive attitude
・Experience in translation
・Experience in photography and/or videography a plus
・Interest in Japanese culture, food, tourism, inbound business, etc.
・Passion for writing
■ Contract type:
・Per article / other types (please inquire)
Home, etc., at writer’s discretion
3,500+ yen/article (depending on experience)
Minimum: 5 articles / week
Maximum: 15 articles / week

・Resume (English and Japanese)
・Cover letter (English and Japanese)
・Writing samples in English web or print media preferred, otherwise personal blog (URLs or scans). In absence of the above, please visit our website, review our past articles and submit a sample article on an appropriate subject of your choice as if you were writing for grape Japan.
