Hampton School is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Kindergarten teacher to work in a private Kindergarten in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, starting from April 2023.

If you have these requirements, please apply.
-Native English speaker.
-Conversational Japanese speaker.
-Minimum 1 year teaching in Japan - preferably in Kindergarten environment.
-Preference given to Early Childhood Education or TESOL or CELTA holder.
-Minimum commitment of 1 year to work for us.
-Energy - enthusiasm - kindness are a must, along with an interest in early child development.

Work days: 2 or 3 days a week
Work time: 8:45 - 3:30
Transportation will be paid.

The successful candidate will be one who enjoys creating a lively and fun curriculum, and implementing it.

Free association time with the children is not only encouraged, it is made specific within the existing curriculum: using games; activities; story reading; crafts and sports - as a basis.

The successful candidate can use English as the medium to teach young learners about daily life. This position is not an Assistant Language Teacher.
