[M-F] Afterschool English instructor （到期)

We are looking for an energetic candidate with some basic Japanese language skills to teach Eiken classes and small private lessons to elementary-aged students at our cliented afterschool facility in Center Minami station. This is not an Eikaiwa or English school.

Responsibilities:
*Homework help, playing games with the students, interacting in English.
*Going outside, playing indoor sports, singing songs and dancing.
*30~50 minute private English lesson on certain days (schedule TBA).
*A 50 minute Eiken lesson to elementary aged student on certain days (schedule TBA).
*Curriculum is provided, however you may be required to adjust based on your teaching style and/or the students.

The age of the students is mixed from 5 ~ 11 years old.

*Requirements*
- Valid working visa in Japan
- Some Japanese capability (the staff do not speak English, so conversational preferred, but set expressions OK).
- English teaching experience in Japan
- Ability to commit to ALL 5 days of the schedule (we cannot accomodate 1 or 2 days only)
- Ability to commit to a 1 year contract from Apr 2023 - March 2024

*Schedule*
Mondays:　16:00-18:00
Tuesdays:　16:00-18:00
Wednesdays:　16:00-18:00
Thursdays:　14:30-17:30
Fridays:　14:30-17:30

*Location*
- The school is located within 5 minutes of Center Minami station

*Compensation*
- ￥3,000 per hour
- Commuting expenses are fully reimbursed

*Hiring process*
- After successfully passing the resume screening, candidates will be asked to conduct an initial interview.
- Succesful candidates will then be asked to create a teaching demo video, which will be shared with the school.
- As the final step, candidates will then be invited to visit the school site to see compatability/meet staff/demo etc.
