描述

A private catholic kindergarten seeks a part-time English teacher who loves interacting with children. This kindergarten belongs to a large educational institution that runs elementary schools, and jun/sen high schools in the different regions nationwide in Japan.

START:
April 2023

POSITION:
a part-time English teacher (dispatch from Brain Academy)

DUTY:
1. regular class:
20-minute lesson for 4-year-old, 5-year-old,
15-minute lesson for 3-year-old class
once a week on Thursday and Friday

2. extracurricular class
two groups by age: two 45-minute lessons each
four days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

3. curriculum-making, lesson plans, and conduct lessons

4. short meeting with teachers

5. during students long holiday, other duties is required.

WORKING HOUR:
Tuesday: 14:00-15:00
Wednesday: 11:30-12:30
Thursday and Friday: 9:45-15:00
*Working hour and schedule could be slightly negotiable.

SALARY:
160,000 yen a month, or 1,920,000 yen annually
*Commuting allowance: paid separately

REQUIREMENT
Curriculum making skill is required.
Experience in teaching English to young learners in Japan is favorable.
Knowledge of Early Childhood Education is favorable.
Basic communication skill in Japanese is favorable.

Visa sponsorship is available by Brain Academy.

Upon the performance in the first year, the contract could be renewed in the following year.

Brain Academy is in charge of candidate screening on behalf of the kindergarten. The principal would invite candidates for an interview in person.
