Musashi International School Tokyo seeks an educator with experience in a multicultural environment. The candidate should reside in Japan and be willing to work in a Cambridge Assessment International Education School in Tokyo. We are searching for an individual who has strong teaching experience with a Mathematics background and is flexible working with different levels of students in Middle and High School ages.

General Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
Preference will be given to those with experience teaching in a secondary school
Preference will be given to those with a teaching background (degree, licensure)
Preference will be given to those with a degree in the relevant field for subject
High level of personal skill in and passion for teaching middle and high school students
Interest in innovative lesson design and in helping English language learners.

Professional Responsibilities:
Planning and instructing lessons on specific topics and subjects
Enforcing classroom management and school policies
Assessing and accommodating students' learning needs and style
Preparing students for Cambridge IGCSE and A Levels Examinations
Grading students' assignments, tests, and exams
Promote the welfare of children and support the school in safeguarding children through relevant policies and procedures.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm
40 hours per week

Full-time teaching load
Attendance at field trips (including overnight) throughout the year.
