Cezars Kitchen is a leader in food service in Japan and the international community.
Since our beginning in 1996, we have served hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers in schools and businesses throughout Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Korea.

Our chefs are from all over the world, and they are all unique and passionate about cooking.


We are looking for kitchen staff at our new cafeteria located in International School in Kita-ward, Tokyo.

The cafeteria is scheduled to open in the beginning of August.

Opening Positions:
1) Full-time Kitchen Manager
2) Full-time Assistant Kitchen Manager
3) Part-time Cook
4) Part-time Baker
5) Part-time Kitchen Hand

Work Location:
Cezars Kitchen in International School in Kita-ward, Tokyo
9-min walk from Itabashi Station

Requirements/ Work hours/Salaries :

1) Full-time Kitchen Manager
・5 years of cook experience with 3 years of management experience.
・Valid working visa: Permanent residence, and or Spouse visa.
・Must be able to start from the beginning of August.
Work hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (1 hour break)
Monthly Salary: ¥250,000 - 300,000

2)Full-time Assistant Kitchen Manager
・2 years of cook experience with minimum 1 year of management experience
・Valid working visa: Permanent residence, and or Spouse visa.
・Must be able to start from the beginning of August.
Work hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (1 hour break)
Monthly Salary:¥210,000 - 250,000

3) Part-time Cook
・2 years of cook experience
・Must have valid working visa
・Must be able to start from mid-August.
Work hours: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 4 days/week
Hourly Wage:¥1,150

4) Part-time Baker
・Prior experience of bakery and pastry work.
・Must have valid working visa
・Must able to start from mid-August.
Work hours: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 4 days/week
Hourly Wage:¥1,150

5) Part-time Kitchen Hand
・Prior Kitchen experience is a bonus.
・Must have valid working visa
・Must able to start from mid-August.
Work hours: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 4 days/week
Hourly Wage:¥1,050

Responsibilities:

1) Full-time Kitchen Manager

・Cooking from Scratch with love
・Oversee all kitchen activities, assign team’s tasks.
・Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes.
・Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness.
・Designing new recipes, planning menus, and selecting plate presentation.
・Reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational and financial objectives.
・Performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders.
・Setting and monitoring performance standards for staff.
・Obtaining feedback on food and service quality, and handling customer problems and complaints.
・Prepare menus as required and submit on time to HO.
・Keep the kitchen looking fun and inviting, updating signage and displays.
・Make sure staff are working efficiently and the environment projects a clean, organized, and professional business.
・Monitor kitchen to ensure proper use of product and inventory control while keeping waste to a minimum.
・Ensure register is properly opened every day and ‘end of day’ is closed out every evening.
・Manage all food and supply orders following approved vendor list and purchasing policy.
・Hire staff. This includes conducting interviews, doing reference checks, wage negotiation (with H/O)
・Follow daily labor targets
・Staff Training
・Maintain a safe work environment for all staff and guests.


2)Full-time Assistant Kitchen Manager

・Cooking from Scratch with love.
・Oversee all kitchen activities, assign team’s tasks.
・Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes.
・Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness.
・Performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders.
・Assist Kitchen Manager with all staff training, make sure all new staff are receiving proper training and follow SOPs.
・Keep the kitchen looking fun and inviting, updating signage and displays.
・Make sure staff are working efficiently and the environment projects a clean, organized, and professional business.
・Monitor kitchen to ensure proper use of product and inventory control while keeping waste to a minimum.
・Ensure register is properly opened every day and ‘end of day’ is closed out every evening.
・Maintain a safe work environment for all staff and guests.

3) Part-time Cook

・Cooking from Scratch with love
・Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes.
・Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness.
・Keep the kitchen looking fun and inviting, updating signage and displays.
・Monitor kitchen to ensure proper use of product and inventory control while keeping waste to a minimum.
・Ensure register is properly opened every day and ‘end of day’ is closed out every evening.
・Maintain a safe work environment for all staff and guests.

4) Part-time Baker

・Prepare all bakery and pastry items up to Cezars Kitchen’s high standard.
・Communicate with kitchen manager to decide daily pastry items for accounts.
・Cut dough into equal parts so that the each batch can have a uniform appearance.
・Always ensure that oven temperature is in accordance to the type of product being baked.
・Prepare icings according to recipes and decorate baked goods appropriately.
・Be a team player. Assist fellow team members if they are busy.
・Monitor bakery section to ensure proper use of product while keeping waste to a minimum.
・Maintain a safe work environment for all staff and guests.

5) Part-time Kitchen Hand

・Preparing meal ingredients for the Cook, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients.
・Assisting kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks.
・Properly washing and drying all dishes, utensils, cooking instruments and cutting boards.
・Neatly putting away all utensils, cooking instruments, dishes, and cutting boards in their respective places.
・Removing garbage, replacing garbage bags, and washing garbage cans.
・Mopping and sweeping the kitchen areas as required.
・Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards.
・Carry out any other duties as required by management.
