Kansai International Academy has 9 early learning and kindergarten campuses in Kansai and 5 in Tokyo. Our Kobe campus has an early learning center, kindergarten, elementary school, secondary school. Our Kobe campus is authorized for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB/PYP) and Diploma Programme (IB DP).

We are currently looking for a kindergarten music teacher to work at a bilingual international school in our Osaka campuses (Hirakata, Higashi-Osaka, Tennoji). With a mission to empower its students into becoming globally-minded and multicultural individuals, the school immerses learners from Kindergarten to Secondary School students in a truly bilingual environment.

With the expansion of the art department, we are seeking multiple specialist teachers with music and visual arts backgrounds to join the arts curriculum team.

Required Skills:
・Developing our curriculum and program further in collaboration with other teachers and staff
・Applying constructivist, inquiry approaches to all teaching and learning
・Differentiating learning for students as necessary
・Commitment and motivation toward continual professional development

Qualification and Experience:

・Bachelor degree (preferred Music Education)
・A teaching certificate would be preferred but not necessary
・Teaching experience in a cross-cultural environment (preferred)
・Teaching experience with students whose English is not their mother tongue (preferred)

Benefits and Training:
In addition to the monthly salary, travel expenses are paid up to a maximum of 25,000 yen per month, and health insurance is provided. Additional monthly allowance for a teaching certificate.
