Osaka English Village: Instructors Needed for ‘School House’ Program
Osaka English Village (OEV), located in Suita City, Osaka, is looking for experienced and professional teachers to lead its School House classes. OEV is a unique facility that utilizes real-world situation-based classrooms to immerse students in an American English environment. Teachers for the School House classes will lead 6 to 12 students aged 2 through 12 using task-based and integrated skills activities once or twice a week. Instructors will make use of in-house designed materials as well as commercial texts for the School House classes. Experience with lesson creation as well as student evaluation and assessment is preferred. School House instructors may also be called upon to lead classes in OEV’s situation-based classrooms.

Employment Terms
Contract: One-year (renewable)
Start Date: End of March / Early April
Hours: 20 hours per week
Salary: 110,000 - 125,000 Yen per month
Transportation: Up to 40,000 Yen per month
Sick Days: Two (2) to be earned after the first month of employment.

Selected candidates should hold an appropriate working visa (tourist visas are not sufficient), have experience teaching ESL to younger learners, and hold an undergraduate degree from an accredited university.
