A new role, 'Tesla Dedicated Driver (Next-Generation Taxi),' is introduced, welcoming inexperienced applicants and drivers of all types. The position focuses on reservation-based dispatch, catering primarily to inbound demand and offers cultural exchange and language learning opportunities with clients. Drivers will operate the 'Tesla Model Y,' a hallmark of zero-emissions electric vehicles while embracing the concept of the “next generation taxi”.
Training for this role lasts about 2 months and the company offers comprehensive technical support for driver development.
The ideal applicant would have a year or more of driving experience and there are no educational requirements. The company will cover all expenses for obtaining the necessary taxi license.
The work schedule requires drivers to commit to a 16 hour shift, once every 11 days. Drivers will work in various wards in the Tokyo area, and the company provides generous options for maternity leave.
The job offers a guaranteed monthly salary of over 300,000 yen, and after deployment, a monthly salary guarantee is in place for the first 12 months.
