Compensation:
Monthly wage 250,000 to 270,000 JPY (based on qualifications/GrapeSEED experience and working schedule)

Start Date:

Working Days & Hours：
Monday to Friday, some Saturdays (in rare cases of school events)
9:00-15:30 and 12:00-19:30 (depends on the day)
(detailed work schedule is to be defined upon a placement decision)

Teaching/Tutoring Experience:
Experience working with younger children
GrapeSEED experience: beneficial
University degree related to Education or English language: preferred
Education, Caregiving, Nursing certificates holders are very welcome to apply.

English Teaching Certificate (TEFL etc.):
Preferred, but not required for native English speakers
Strongly preferred for non-native speakers

Position Details:
Teaching English using a designed learning program (GrapeSeed) in an assigned kindergarten. Daily duties include leading 40-minute lessons (up to 4 lessons per day) and participating in other school activities. Substitute teaching when required.

Classroom Description/ Student Age:
Toddlers (3 years old)
Children / Preteens (4-12 years old)
Up to 20 students per class.

Probation Period:
2 month (fully paid)

Training:
Provided (fully paid)

Holidays:
Saturdays and Sundays

Paid Holidays:
Public holidays, 10 days of flexible leave, and in accordance with the assigned school's calendar-Spring, Summer, Winter holidays.

Recruitment process:
1. Candidates that pass the initial screening will be invited to have two interviews.
2. Following the decision to hire, teachers will go through a short training (2 days online seminar) and an extended training course/internship.
3. After the training period, a teacher will be assigned to the kindergarten in Chiba city (Inage ward).
