We have played a key role in developing the international date market, establishing connections to supermarkets, retail chains, manufacturers, and distributors in over 30 countries world-wide.
We are forming a new Japanese presence, requiring a manager to help plan and execute the introduction of our prestigious product further to the Japanese market.
This position, as central to our Japanese division, will work to develop, establish, and maintain marketing and business strategies in order to meet organizational objectives.
This position will act as effective manager of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization.
・Introduce the product to the Japanese market, establish market penetration, and run the ongoing marketing activities.
・Develop and implement marketing plans and projects.
・Report to and be subjected to the parent company’s Senior Executive tier, particularly to the Marketing and Sales managers.
・Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
・Expand and develop marketing platforms including social media platforms (in Japanese).
・Create marketing presentations (in Japanese)
・Monitor industry best practices.
・Oversee and implement marketing activity, such as:
Training sales force.
Manage publication (in all traditional and new media channels).
Manage public events, exhibitions etc.
・Flex with core time from 9:00 to 18:00, 5 days a week from Mon. to Fri.
・Review once a quarter based on KPI.
・Start with contract basis and possible to a full time employment with all fringe benefits.
Transportation & Communication:
・Monthly Actual expenses to be reviewed for approval and reimbursed within the first week of a following month in addition to a monthly salary.
・Work from home to start with.
・Consumer and Trade marketing in the food/beverage industry
・Use of the latest communication tools, including SNS
・Bilingual for business practice (Japanese/English) both written and oral.
・University graduate, majoring in Business, Marketing, PR, or equivalent is preferred
・3 years or more experience in Marketing/PR in the FMCG with successful tracking records
・Referrals would be a plus
