Seikyo Campus is currently accepting applications for a Kindergarten English Teaching Position starting in April 2018.
We are looking for a passionate, proactive, conscientious English teacher, who can handle a high degree of responsibility. This requires a teacher to be independent and manage classes effectively.
The content of the work consists of:
‣Teaching engaging, creative, and passionate English lessons for kindergarten students (ages 3-5).
‣Teaching after-school classes for elementary school students (ages 6-12).
‣Creating lesson plans, especially GrapeSEED lessons (ages 4-5).
‣Discussing the content and context of the lessons before and after the class.
‣Participating in kindergarten classes with a Japanese homeroom teacher.
‣Participating in Japanese and English staff meetings.
‣Assessing the students and developing their English skills effectively.
‣Playing outside with the students during recess.
‣Communicating with parents after the class.
‣Cleaning the teaching rooms.
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday.
The hours of your work will vary day to day depending on your schedule, but it will not exceed 40 hours on a regular work week.
Pay:
Wage: 260,000yen/ month.
Train fees are provided (reimbursed).

Lunch Fee 3,000 yen per month
Pay Raise:
At the end of each school year we will assess the teacher’s work and give the appropriate pay raise.
You will need to submit a resume & references.
If your application is selected, there will be an interview and you will be asked to demonstrate your style of teaching. Candidates will be informed by phone if they have the position or not.
We provide our own curriculum and training system. This has to be followed. Although we are open to new ideas and new activities etc., you must not deviate from our curriculum without discussing it first.
