Blue Dolphins International School is now hiring a FULL-TIME Float Teacher for our preschools. Work locations include our preschools in Mikage, Nishinomiya, Senrichuo, and Takatsuki, situated in Osaka and Hyogo.

As a Float Teacher, you will cover for absent teachers and work at multiple schools based on the school's needs. You will have one or two "root schools" where you will be on standby.

【Position Start Date】
The position is available for an immediate start, with initial training provided. The start date is somewhat flexible, so please apply if interested, and we can discuss further during the interview.

【Position Description】
・Teach at several schools located in Osaka and Hyogo.
・Primarily work as a substitute teacher using lesson plans prepared by the main teacher.
・Collaborate with the main teacher as an extra hand.
*This position requires significant commuting and flexibility due to the multiple locations.

【Requirements】
・Flexible with schedule changes and willing to commute.
・Currently residing in the Kansai area (ideally the northern part of Osaka).
・Native English speaker or equivalent proficiency.
・Some experience working with and teaching children from pre-kindergarten to elementary school age.
・Proper visa status to work legally in Japan without initial sponsorship (visa renewal sponsorship is provided).

【Working Conditions】
・Work Days: Tuesday to Saturday
・Work Hours: Tuesdays to Fridays 9:45 AM - 6:00/6:30 PM Saturdays 9:45AM - 3:00 PM
*Includes break time
・Salary: ¥255,000 starting salary, plus an allowance for those with a valid teaching license/certificate.
・Fully covered transportation fees.
・Social insurance (health insurance, pension, unemployment insurance).
・Visa renewal support provided.
・Paid summer and winter holidays, plus 10 paid vacation days.
