2nd Community Inc. has operated EYS music school and Kids Dance & Ballet school with approximately 30000 members with 30 studios in Japan.
Now 2nd Community will begin a NEW after school called “地球住所 for EYS-Kids” for students aged between 3 and 10 years old at Daikanyama, Shibuya, Tokyo.

This after school will offer a variety of classes to bring out and foster the great potential of children, English, Programming, Art, Dance, Ballet, Music Instruments, Gospel, Zen meditation..English and programming and Art classes are compulsory, others can be chosen to suit children's interests.

We are looking to hire a talented Art-English Teacher to join our team. You will have the chance to create new art lessons and teach them at our new after-school in Daikanyama. You will also assist launch our new English curriculum for children.

[CURRENTLY SEEKING]
- Fluent~Native English speakers. Those who speak fluent Japanese will also be given special consideration.

Ideal candidates will have one or more of the following:
- at least an undergraduate degree, preferably in early education or related field
- experience teaching Art to young learners
- the ability to create Art lessons in English catering to children ages 3-10
- minimum two years experiences teaching English to elementary children or kindergarten
- able to produce digital illustration s using a variety of software
- flexible / good team player
- the ability to bond with kids
- a sociable personality

[Responsibilities]
1. Teaching Art classes to kindergarten and elementary school children.
2. Creating an Art curriculum designed for children ages 3-10 (Painting, Drawing, Craft etc…).
3. Creating complete illustrations by combining hand-drawn and digitally created images.
4. Assisting with our English after-school classes.
5. Assisting the school in any necessary tasks and events.

[WORKING CONDITIONS]
Subcontractor/Freelance (業務委託）or contract employee（契約社員）
1 year contract with option to renew

・Contract employee（契約社員）
Full-time (8 hours + 60 minute break)
- Working time depends on class schedule
- Location: Sarugaku-Cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo
- Two days off /week (depending on class schedule)
- 10 paid leave days, each subsequent year earning additional days.
- Summer vacation, year-end and New Year holidays, special leave for weddings and funerals
- Initial contract will be approximately one year as "keiyaku shain" (limited).

Working hour will be determined by discussions.

[Salary]
Subcontractor/Freelance (業務委託）
2,200~2,800yen per hour depending on skills and experience, as well as the number of hours worked.
