【Teach in Beautiful Nara as an ALT!】

We are now hiring for Assistant Language Teacher positions in Uda City, Nara Prefecture. We have part-time and short-term full-time positions available. We highly encourage you to apply now to secure a spot. Please read on for more information!

【Position Details】
● Locations: Uda City, Nara Prefecture
● Contract Period: Immediate to March 18th, 2022
● Working Days: Around 145 days total
● Contract Type: Daily (Part-Time)
● Level: Kindergarten and Elementary schools
● Working Hours: Between 8:00 am to 16:30 pm
● Salary range: Between 12,000 yen to 14,000 yen / day (paid in monthly installments)

Please note that in these positions, you will work during regular school hours (between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm). The number of working days ranges from 1 to 5 days per week. There are 145 working days in total from April 2021 to March 2022. Because the number of working days can differ from week to week and are set in advance, please confirm the flexibility of any additional work you may have. Prior to starting, ALTs will be provided a yearly calendar of working days which will help manage their other commitments.

【Full-Time Positions Available!】
Looking for full-time work at the junior high level? We also have a short-term positions available! Details are as follows:

● Locations: Uda City, Nara Prefecture
● Contract Period: Immediate to July 16th, 2021
● Contract Type: Full-Time
● Level: Junior high schools
● Working Hours: Between 8:00 am to 16:30 pm
● Salary range: Between 220,000 yen to 240,000 yen / month

【Requirements】
In addition to those stated at the top of this ad, successful candidates should:
● Hold a Japanese Driver's License or International Driving Permit (those who do not own a vehicle can lease a company car from us)
● Have prior teaching experience in Japan
● Have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as be highly motivated, outgoing/friendly, flexible with working conditions, and be in good health
● Be responsible for managing National Health Insurance and Pension

【About ALT Work】
As an ALT, you would be responsible for co-teaching with Japanese teachers, making activities and materials to facilitate English language instruction. You will also make the language “real” by interacting with students throughout the day to help them actively apply what they learn in class. The ideal candidate is flexible with their teaching style and wants to make a positive impact on the lives of the students.
