Site Security Manager will provide operational support in the application of physical security operations at the client's campus to ensure a safe working environment and support the organization's core business objectives.
 
Details
 
Essential Functions

The Essential Functions Include:
    1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
    2. Provide operational support in the application of physical security operations to ensure a safe working environment.
    3. Assist in theevaluation, development, and implementation of regionalsecurity strategies;
         1. Implement site security plans, security assessments, site specific risk/threat analysis and training awareness programs with the assistance of law enforcement agencies.
         2. Support the regional internal communication program.
    4. Liaise with government, consular and private sector agencies to enhance security operations.
    5. Provide support to Regional Security Managerregarding contingency planning, risk/threat assessments, and the maintenance of effective networks across all business groups.
    6. Assist with the intelligence gathering process regarding the protection against high security threats, emergencies, and contingencies.
    7. Assist with the Building Emergency Reaction Readiness Program through the collaborationwith key stakeholders.
    8. Preserve the business infrastructure at local and region level through the implementation of strategic business objectives.
    9. Provide multi-level communication between the business units in cooperation with individuals, teams, and vendors.
   10. Conduct periodic review sessions with vendors to achieve quality service delivery provision by suppliers and vendors.
   11. Manage and direct all security staff and daily on-site security operations;
         1. Ensurecorrect and continuous business operations.
         2. Assist in the development of internal andexternal service optimization.
   12. Respond immediately to all security incidents and emergencies, as dictated by policy.
   13. Provide operational support to the Regional Security Manager during incidents and emergencies;
         1. Act as the global security representative duringinitial stages, as dictated by policy.
   14. Support established systems including but not limited to; Access Control, System Trouble Shooting, and Access Card Management.
   15. Provide security support for both internal/external events.
   16. All other duties, as assigned.
 
Minimum Hiring Standards
 
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
     * Must have a Senior High School graduate or equivalent.
     * Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and/or background investigation.
     * Must meet the country's age requirement.
     * Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).
     * Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
     * Must have the legal right to work in Japan
     * Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
 
Education/Experience
 
Bachelor's degree preferred with at least five years of security operations experience with ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written. Bi-lingual skills; English and Japanese.
 
Competencies
 
     * Corporate security operations/management experience.
     * Bi-lingual skills; English and Japanese.
     * Able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.
     * Excellent personal skills including managerial skills and presentation skills.
     * Able to multi-task and organize workload for effective implementation.
     * Strong client orientation and results driven.
     * Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
     * Ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities in accordance with level of importance.
     * Able to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves.
     * Computer skills; Microsoft Office.
 
Working Conditions
 
With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions. In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include:
     * Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and/or behavioral selection survey.
     * Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
     * Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
     * Regular computer usage.
     * Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
     * Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or customers.
     * Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
     * Close and distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
     * Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking.
     * Travel, as required.
