EPC Project Planner/Scheduler – oil and gas Projects

Experienced EPC project planner/scheduler required in an engineering center and the qualified candidate will be part of a scheduling team for oil and gas EPC projects.

Job Description
• Understand and set up WBS structure, and work with management and project team in the development of detailed work break down structure (L1, L2, L3 and L4 level) scheduling and project control.
• Track, monitor and forecast progress of all activities shown in the project schedule.
• Develop and implement plan versus actual progress charts (histograms/S curves).
• Reports and analyses deviations from plan to be reported to project management.
• Analyze critical areas between the planned and actual progress and highlight the areas of concern which required action of the responsible person/ section.
• Participate in meetings (i.e. schedule review meeting, progress meeting, coordination meeting, and so on) if required.
• Coordinate schedule from multiple parties including internal and external and incorporate the information gathered into the overall project master schedule.

Skills:
• Basic operation of Primavera P6 (creation and update of schedule)
• Basic Excel operations (simple functions, pivot table creation, etc.)
• Good verbal and written communication in English language.
• Business level Japanese language communication skill

Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in engineering
• At least 5 years’ scheduling experience.
• Prior experience in oil and gas EPC project scheduling.
