Writing English passages with questions* for the Japanese universtity entrance exams preparation books.
*Mainly the Japanese university English entrance exams level (e.g. the Common Test for University Admissions ("大学入学共通テスト" in Japanese)).
English level: Native level
Japanese level (Minimum): Intermediate level (Can read the Japanese of the NHK news*)
*Please specify if you can read the NHK news or have the JLPT certificate in your CV.
Must currently reside in Japan.
Experience working in the field of English education (required).
Have advanced knowledge of English grammar and composition (required).
Have excellent command of written English (required).
Have Bachelor's degree or higher (or equivalent) (required).
Have advanced knowledge of Japanese university English entrance exams (required).
Able to use Microsoft Word (required).
Must be able to work actively within a team and also be able to work independently (required).
Experience writing English textbooks, test materials, or other materials for Japanese high school students (required).
*Agreement with conditions of writing rates will be signed (copyright will be transferred to Z-kai Solutions Inc.).
From 7,200 yen to 292,000 yen (excl. tax).
Depends on the target, level, amount, etc. of the passages.

December 2022 to November 2023
If there is a mutual agreement between parties, the contract can be renewed.
Tasks and Responsibilities
・Develop and write materials considering authenticity, suitability of content and other specifications.
・Review content according to the feedback from the team.
・Proofread English content.
Please write a cover letter (up to 500 words) that includes the following point:
・Why you are applying for this position, including what skills and/or experience you can bring to our team.
Step 1: Send a CV with a cover letter
*CV will be screened and the result will be notified within 2 weeks by e-mail.
Step 2: Submit sample passages with questions
*Writing period of around 3 weeks (tentative) after the notificaion of the result.
*Online interview may be conducted.
*Sample passages with questions will be of the Reading and Listening parts of the Common Test for University Admissions.
*Writing fees will be paid for this step.
