Smile International Preschool & Afterschool is a government-funded preschool established in April of 2019. We operate four schools in Osaka City, where we focus largely on our student's social development in an immersive English environment.

【Working Conditions】

Starting Date: From April 2023 (Early start possible)

Working Days: Mondays to Fridays

Hours: 08:30 - 17:30
(8 hours of actual work with 1 hour break)
(40 hour work week)

There is usually no work on weekends
※However, Saturday work is sometimes required for important meetings or school events

Holidays: Based on the official public holiday calendar in Japan (Obon / Summer leave / Winter leave / Golden Week)

【Starting Wage】

¥230,000

【Salary System】

1st year: ¥230,000 – ¥240,000
2nd year: ¥235,000 – ¥245,000
3rd year: ¥250,000 – Negotiable

【What we are looking for in a teacher】

Someone who can assist our students with their English through natural conversations or activities while also acting as a positive role model for them to follow. Additionally, someone who can develop ways to overcome common classroom challenges in order to improve teamwork and lesson quality.

【Responsibilities】

-Basic English education
-Child Care (Including diaper changing or potty training)
-Planning for lessons and events with assigned team
-Cleaning & Organizing classrooms
-Occasional office work
