British Culture Academy is expanding and looking to hire English teachers for the new school year. We're currently looking to hire full-time and part-time teachers.

Our company generally teaches in Saitama, but we also go to Tokyo, Tochigi, Chiba and Ibaraki and now, new positions are opening in and around the Yokohama, Kawasaki and Tokyo areas.

Currently, there are 2 different positions you can apply for.

A regular teaching position, which includes being a dispatch teacher that teaches at various kindergartens and nurseries, located around Saitama and the surrounding areas. With morning and afternoon lessons being available.

The second position would be for someone who's living in and around the Yokohama, Tokyo or Kawasaki area. This position would be for 4 mornings a week, with 2 hours work time and a few afternoon lessons as well.


An example of the positions we have.

Part-time <1 day a week up to 5 days a week.>
A) 9:00am - 12:00pm
2:00pm - 6:00pm

Full-time hours
B) 9:00am - 12:00pm
2:00pm - 6:00pm

Actual hours may vary, based on the day and how many classes are being taught.


Our company provides full training and supplies all the flash cards and materials for the teachers.
During the lesson, our teachers teach using various methods including: teaching vocabulary, using gestures, playing games, singing and dancing.

Requirements:
＊ Must speak English (~Native level if possible)
＊ Be willing to work with kids
＊ Live in Tokyo, Yokohama or Saitama(ex. Omiya, Kuki, Kawaguchi, Kasukabe)
＊ Able to keep the kids interested in learning English
＊ Able to commit to a 1 year contract

Step1. Interview at the office (in Saitama)
Step2. Observe our lessons
Step3. Training with Japanese staff and experienced English teachers
Step4. Start teaching
