JOYTALK is now accepting applications for a energetic and enthusiastic native English speakers to work as kindergarten English teachers in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture, starting from starting in April 2023, with training before the work assignment begins.
・ be native speakers of English
・ have at least a bachelor's degree from a university
・ be willing to commit to at least the end of the school year at the end of March 2024
・ enjoy working with children
・ be able to follow a specific curriculum for teaching English
・ be able to supervise children inside and outside of class when required
・ be a team player
・ be outgoing with students and teachers taking initiative even in situations where English is not the main language
Applicants would also be highly regarded if they have or hold:
・ childcare qualifications or certifications
・ early childhood education qualifications
・ conversational Japanese language skills
・ have previous kindergarten experience or teaching experience with children in their home country
● CONDITIONS & BENEFITS:
・ Work at the assigned kindergarten from Monday to Friday with shift hours varying between the hours of 8:00am and 6:30pm, totalling 29.5 hours per week.
・ Or work part-time up to 3 days a week.
・ The kindergarten may have events from time to time that fall on a weekend, in which case time off in lieu will be scheduled.
・ The salary will depend on the position, qualifications, teaching experience and Japanese language skills and as such, will range between 230,000 and 250,000 yen per month, which equates to 2,760,000 yen to 3,000,000 yen per full contracted year (12 months). A stable monthly salary will be set, which is not a daily pay system.
・ Part-time work will be paid on a daily or hourly rate depending on the schedule.
・ Full monthly attendance for full-time workers will be rewarded with a bonus that is paid at the completion of the full contract.
・ We pay a capped monthly transportation allowance that will vary depending on work conditions. This is paid ON TOP OF THE SALARY, not included as part of it.
・ We offer 10 days of paid leave from the start of employment for full-time workers, not making our employees wait for 6 months.
・ We have the flexibility to allow paid leave to be used for sick days and on short notice.
・ We can handle all visa related issues on your behalf at the immigration office so there is no need for you to take time off to be there.

・ We provide visa sponsorship and do not charge applicants a set fee for getting a new visa.
・ We can secure discounted car rental and organise rental accommodation for our teachers if necessary.
