Kids English teacher in Shizuoka (Mishima area).

Requirements:
・For candidates in Japan only (specialist in humanities visa, spouse visa/permanent resident, long-term resident visa)
・Japanese level: At least N4 level, conversational (not basic)
・Experience with teaching kindergarten and elementary school children
・An honest passion for working and interacting with children
・A good singer, as there are many songs in lessons
・A strong sense of responsibility
・Grapeseed experience is highly preferred
・An outgoing personality

Compensation:
Monthly wage ¥240,000 ~ ¥260,000 (based experience with Grapeseed Curriculum)
Transportation allowance up to 30.000 JPY
Health Insurance and Pension, Unemployment Insurance provided

Working Days & Hours：
Monday to Friday, some Saturdays (These Saturdays are usually for school events, and may be made-up another day, or extra pay will entail, depending on the school calendar).
The daily work schedule is 7:30-16:30 or 9:30-18:30 with a 1-hour break.

Start Date:
As soon as possible. (Negotiable, preferably a July start.)

Nearest Station: Mishima Station (JR Tokaido line) (3km)

Probation Period：
2 months

Position Details:
Teaching English using a designated learning program (GrapeSeed) in an assigned kindergarten. Daily duties include teaching GrapeSeed lessons and participating in other school activities. As part of the teaching staff at the school, the position requires not only teaching English classes, but also interacting and caring for the kids outside of lessons, as well as assisting other teachers with events and other classes. Substitute teaching is also done when required.

Classroom Description/ Student Age:
Toddlers (3 years old)
Children / Preteens (4-12 years old)
Up to 20 students per class.

Paid Holidays：
Usually Saturday and Sunday, public holidays, ten days of flexible leave (after 6 months), and in accordance with the assigned school's calendar: Spring, Summer, Winter holidays.

Recruitment process:
Candidates that pass the initial screening will be invited to have 2 Skype interviews. Following the decision to hire, teachers will go through a short training and an extended training course if required. The training period is fully paid.
