Native English teacher for Private HS in Kyoto, 2020 (expired)

Educational Network* is now seeking Native English Instructors for the academic year starting April 2020.

Job Description【PART TIME Senior high school teacher】
●PLACE; South Kyoto
●WORKING HOURS; teach 10 to 12 lessons/week(3-4days)
●SALARY;100,000-120,000yen/month(fixed for 12 months)
●TRANSPORTATION; Fully covered
●CONTRACT; April 2020-March 2021

* Working schedule is negotiable

REQUIREMENTS
-Must be a native English speaker
-Must be able to commit to a one year contract
-Be a collaborative, communicative and patient person
-Have a willingness to communicate with students & teachers inside & outside the classroom

Essential duties include:
・Teaching English classes based on the set curriculum
・Developing lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum
・Suggesting/creating teaching materials as necessary
・Participating the school meetings/events as necessary
・Team teaching with Japanese English teacher

Duties may include:
・Making/Marking exams.

Other qualifications:
・Previous teaching experience in Japan as well as elsewhere valued
・Teaching certificates (e.g. TESOL, CELTA, BEd, MA TESOL) are preferred but not required
