Summer Kids English Teacher at Nagoya YMCA (expired)

We are looking for creative, energetic part-time English teachers for the Summer Intensive kids English program (July and August).

・Nagoya YMCA (Ikeshita): Chikusa-ku Nagoya 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
・Nanzan Family YMCA: Shouwa-ku Nagoya

[Schedule and Location]
#1: July 24 - July 28 (Ikeshita or Nanzan) (5 days)
#2: July 31 - August 4 (Ikeshita or Nanzan) (5 days)
#3: August 7 - August 10 (Ikeshita or Nanzan) (4 days)
#4: August 21 - August 25 (Ikeshita or Nanzan) (5 days)
#5: August 28 - August 30 (Ikeshita or Nanzan) (3 days)

[Class] K=kindergarten grades, E=elementary school grades
#1: K1, K2-3, E1-3
#2: K1, K2-3, E1-3
#3: K1, K2-3, E1-3, E4-6
#4: K1, K2-3, E1-3
#5: K1, K2-3, E1-3

[Work Hours]
9:10-15:10 (Lesson Hours: 9:30-15:00)

[Wage]
13,800 yen to 14,700 yen per day
(500 yen per day will be deducted from the payment for teachers who order lunch through YMCA)

[Public Transportation Allowance]
Maximum ￥1,500 for round-trip per day reimbursed

*The maximum number of students per class is 12. (Please NOTE that classes may be cancelled if the minimum number of student applications is not reached or if there is an unexpected drop in the number of students due to student cancallations.)

*Teacher's responsibilities include the followings:
・Develop and conduct engaging, enjoyable, and educational English language lessons based on our teaching curriculum and additional instruction to inspire our students to develop their interest in learning English and explore the world in English (Teaching contents may include phonics, grammar, listening, reading, speaking, writing, Science, Social Studies, arts & craft, and P.E.)
・Prepare teaching materials
・Ensure the English only policy is followed as much as possible
・Set up your classroom and prepare for the lessons before your students arrive
・Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to provide a duty of care for students and to protect and preserve all materials, equipment, and facilities during the lessons and break time
・Explain your lesson contents briefly to the parents after every lesson
・Eat lunch with students and supervise them during the lunch time
・Tidy up the classroom after lessons
