English Instructor (expired)

United Culture School is a family-run business located in Uwajima City, Ehime Prefecture.

We are currently seeking a full- time, enthusiastic and motivated native-English speaker to be an English Instructor from March or April 2021.
Requirements:
-Must hold a university degree, preferably a BA
-Must possess a valid working visa, extension of visa is possible
-Candidate must be able to commit to a year contract, longer if possible

Preferred:
-Candidate will be responsible for design and implementation of curriculum, some experience in this area would be advantageous
-Some conversational Japanese and computer knowledge would be an asset

Conditions:
-In addition to monthly wage of ￥280,000 a month, a housing subsidy will be provided
-Apartment provided with key deposit paid and basic furnishings
-Departure bonus provided upon completion of one year contract
-Monday-Friday from 12-9pm, with some flexibility, actual teaching hours will be less
-Occasional weekend work required for school events

Summary:
-Both private and group lessons taught
-Some test classes, TOEIC/EIKEN
-Students range in age from 6-70
-Many events organized for students, which candidate will assist in running
-Seeking a positive and motivated self-starter
-Candidate should be comfortable living in a small city
-An excellent chance to design your own curriculum to suit the students and see your students progress
