J Institute is currently looking for a part-time Teacher to support our A+ program. The program is designed for Elementary School-aged children to learn many subjects in English from a native English instructor.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing lesson plans and materials before lessons
Preparing lesson materials
Teaching group lessons
Working Condition:
Hours: Up to 10 - 20 hours a week to start
Location: Mainly in Jiyugaoka, but potentially in Shibuya as well.
Requirements:
English Level: Native Speaker
Teaching Experience: 2 years or more
Attitude: Friendly, positive, and energetic
Special considerations:
Japanese is not required, but bi-lingual applicants will receive special consideration.
Experience working in childcare positions, those with professional ambitions in education, and those who have other skills that can be taught in after-school programs (Music, Dance, etc.)
The hourly rate: ¥2500-¥4000 (Adjusted according to skills and experience.)
