Description

Are you:

-Looking for a way to earn additional income to support yourself/your family?
-Hoping to gain more Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) experience?
-Seeking a lighter work schedule that you can balance with other commitments?

Then we have great news for you! Borderlink is now offering ALT daily positions in the Kansai area starting from April 2019!

These positions will see you working at public kindergarten, elementary and/or junior high school levels, and are perfect for those seeking to supplement other jobs or expand their range of teaching skills. Those holding visas allowing work for 28 hours or less (including students) are also welcome to apply, as we have positions with flexible hours. Candidates holding driver's licenses (Japanese or International) will be given priority, as some positions require driving.

Working a daily position gives you more time to manage other responsibilities, and is advantageous if you already have evening work or another part-time job. The wage is on a daily basis, meaning a full day's work is paid (at the end of every month) regardless of the number of classes taught in the day. Furthermore, Borderlink will be able to provide you with a yearly calendar to help manage your schedule and plan your week accordingly, a benefit unique to us. It is also possible for us to act as the sponsor for your visa if the situational requirements are met.

Locations around Kansai we have positions in offer benefits such as:

-Easy, fast access to major cities like central Osaka and Nara!
-The quieter lifestyle of suburban or semi-rural areas!
-More affordable housing in areas that still have urban convenience!
-Great locations - whether you like the coast or closer to mountains, these positions are prime for those who love the outdoors.
-The history and excitement of Kansai can be found everywhere, with all locations having shrines, temples or castles situated nearby.
-Local festivals, cuisine and culture to enjoy year-round.
-All are great places to live and work!

--About ALT Work--

As an ALT, you would be responsible for co-teaching with Japanese teachers, making activities and materials to facilitate English language instruction. You will also make the language "real" by interacting with students throughout the day to help them actively apply what they learn in class. The ideal candidate is flexible with their teaching style and wants to make a positive impact on the lives of the students.
