Description
The Osaka YMCA Language Center is looking for an experienced English language teacher to join our Saturday program for elementary school children. The successful candidate will be working alongside a classroom assistant to provide a group of eleven high-level students aged 8-11 years old with a day of learning focused on general English study, and theme-based project work. Applicants should be organised and professional-minded, creative, hard-working, and committed to delivering a fun and productive learning experience. Duties will include: planning and teaching lessons, monitoring and managing students, and recording attendance and student progress.
HOURS:
Saturdays, 09:30-14:50 (225 minutes teaching)
CONTRACT PERIOD:
January 11th - March 14th 2020 (10 teaching days), with the possibility of extension beyond this initial period
COMPENSATION:
16,000 yen per teaching day (plus transportation)
