About Kochi and Tosa:
Kochi is a prefecture of Japan located on the south coast of Shikoku. Tosa city is small and friendly, with a dose of southern flair. The city is a middle town within Kochi prefecture in the Shikoku region. It is also famous for an abundance of sunshine, and soothing waters in the form of clear rivers and lengthy coastlines.

About the position:
The placement will be at kindergartens, elementary, and junior high schools in Tosa City, Kochi Prefecture. ALTs assist in teaching classes and help plan English lessons under a schedule created by NPO GLAD and the Board of Education. As well as teaching English, you may also be asked to participate in activities such as Eigo clubs, school cleaning, and festivals.

Contract term:
Immediate - March 31st, 2023

Benefits
・Days off include weekends, national holidays, and other holidays(winter and spring) set on the Board of Education's school calendar
・Rental car provided
・Ongoing and continuous support (training and advice)

Conditions
・Monthly base compensation: From ¥250,000 per month (It will be decided after interviews)
・Working hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am-4:00 pm
・Placement: Kindergartens, Elementary, and junior high schools throughout Tosa city

Qualifications
・Native English Speaker or equivalent
・Holder of a university Bachelor's degree (or higher)
・Holder of a valid visa status that allows work in Japan (renewal available)
・Holder of a Japanese driver's license or international driving permit in order to commute to schools
