Description
We are currently accepting qualified applications for a Science, Mathematics, Humanities / English - Middle School Teacher position.

Responsibilities
1. Teachers will perform a full range of duties, including but not limited to:
2. Preparing/implementing lesson plans that lead to student mastery of curriculum content
3. Developing /implementing integrated curriculum units, differentiating and scaffolding as needed
4. Regularly assessing student progress to refine instruction and meet student needs
5. Participating regularly in professional development opportunities and collaborative meetings
6. Communicating frequently with students, students’ families, colleagues and other stakeholders
7. Working closely with children and their families to promote personal growth and success
8. Maintaining regular, punctual attendance
Qualifications (Applicants who possess the following skills will make the strongest candidates):
A. Teaching Credential or equivalent
B. Relevant subject certifications
C. Demonstrated ability to implement varied classroom instructional strategies
D. Educational vision for and experience with low-income and /or minority students
E. Demonstrated track record with English language learners
F. Commitment to preserving the cultural heritage of students
G. Passion for working with children and their families
