This role is critical to support the Area Operations Director and support him with vendor management from end-to-end across the F&B operations, hotel operations and getting new hotels set up in time before our new openings over the next few months. We are looking for someone who can be the right hand to our Area Director to lead and manage all our outsourced vendors from managing licenses, contract management and seeking solutions to operational issues as they arise. You will partner closely with the Operations team to ensure smooth running of our hotel business.
Project management to manage and run processes with vendors end-to-end (contracts/renewals)
Sales/biz development experience
Benchmarking costs with other companies/vendors to improve cost efficiency
Find new vendors and liaise with internal teams and coordinate with other existing vendors when we have new hotel openings set up
Coordinate with other vendors and local regulators (fire dept/city hall/getting new and renewing of licenses for operating building licenses)
Gathering requirements and finding solutions/new vendors to solve issues
Project management of vendors and managing vendor relationships to complete tasks from start to finish
Work alongside the Operations Area Director and guidance while the Project Account Manager will execute on most vendor management duties end-to-end
Working closely with the Operations team and Operations leads on hotel business requirements
Establish relationships with new vendors (F&B/hotel operations)
Japanese N1 at minimum/native Japanese with business level English ability
Past experience with contract management and negotiation
Juggle many projects at once and good at multitasking
Strong communicator, both written and verbal
Ability to execute, lead others/vendors and follow through on all projects/tasks assigned
Preferred Requirements/Nice to have:
Previous experience fast scaling tech startups
Past experience in retail/hospitality industries/F&B
