We are hiring staff for a hostel and bar located in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture.

Surrounding the area, there are abundant natural sights and commercial facilities, including hot springs, hiking spots, and the mountain that became the setting for "Initial D" – making it a beloved tourist destination.

Hostel
There are very few hostels in Takasaki City. Our facility is a small hostel that can accommodate up to 22 guests. We aspire to be pioneers in promoting the charms of Takasaki City to the world. To that end, we regularly produce YouTube content to promote the local area. We hope you can assist us in this endeavor.

Bar
The bar functions as a living space for the guests, and it's also open to the public.

We are looking for someone who:

Is outgoing and confident in their communication skills.
Can come up with strategies and initiatives for attracting inbound tourists.
Wants to take the initiative and operate with the mindset that this hostel is their own.
Can engage in PR activities for Gunma Prefecture and build a community with local residents.
Contract:

Full-time
Salary:
Monthly salary of 230,000 to 260,000 yen.
Salary will be determined based on skills and experience.
There's a probationary period of 4 months.
Annual salary will be reviewed once a year.
Biannual performance bonus.
Overtime pay.
Allowance for night shift work.
Regular tasks:

Front desk and general bar/restaurant duties.
Cleaning the building/guest rooms.
Periodic tasks:

Support for outdoor and exhibition events.
Proposals for sales promotions.
Working hours:

Shift system from 11:00 to 25:00.
Whether early shift or late shift, actual working hours, including breaks, are 8 hours.
Days off:

5-day work week.
Paid holidays.

Moving expenses:

Up to 30,000 yen will be provided.
However, if you resign within a year, you will need to repay the aforementioned amount.
