A research hospital in Tokyo is seeking participants for two clinical trials in August/September.
The first trial requires a 4-night clinic stay along with a 2-hour follow-up visit and has a payment of 152,000 yen. The second trial requires a 10-night clinic stay along with 7 follow-up visits and has a payment of 470,000 yen.
Applicants must first attend a screening session which lasts about three hours. During the session, we will explain about the study procedure and schedule, and each applicant receives a free health check. At the end of the session, each applicant receives JPY 5,000 in cash to cover their time/transportation expense. In addition, the hospital will pay round-trip shinkansen/airfare for participants who live outside of the Kanto region. These sessions will begin in mid-August.
Applicants who pass the screening will be invited to participate in the clinic stay for the trial. The hospital provides meals, wi-fi, game consoles, English-language magazines and movies during the clinic stay. Participants will have large amounts of free time during the clinic stays and it is fine to do other work during the free-time periods.
