HobbyLink Japan is a global company dealing with customers from all around the globe. Our goal is to make buying Japanese goods online as smooth as possible. We are constantly expanding and now looking for a motivated, skillful person to join our internal development team as a website developer.

Duties include:
>Understand product goals/feature requests and translate them into working software
>Work as part of a team consisting of both internal and external developers
>Write efficient and well documented code
>Testing and reviewing own and other team member’s work

Employment type:
Full-time Employee (with a 3 month initial trial period)

Working Hours:
9:00 ~ 18:00 (Monday - Friday)
Two days off / week, year-end and New Year holidays, paid leave

Salary:
¥4,500,000 - ¥5,500,000 / year, depending on skills and abilities.
* Past work experience and proficiency will be taken into account for the salary

Transportation allowance up to ¥30,000/month

Who we are looking for:
Someone with good communication and engineering skills, experience in a business setting, and is a positive influence to their surroundings.
Someone who can work ambitiously and grow with our company.
Must be able to cooperate with people of different ages, nationalities and backgrounds in a professional work setting.


Necessary qualifications:
>Business Level English (TOEIC 800 and above, speaking, writing and reading)
>Ability to work in a fast paced environment with shifting tasks as need requires
>Strong skills in object oriented coding as well as scripting, with a main focus on Python or PHP
>For this position we are looking for a person who can proactively engage in maintaining and improving our website


Bonus qualifications:
>Development experience in Python/Django
>Experience in AWS and microservices architecture
>Japanese Language skills
