Overview:
Our successful Japanese language school is looking for a new sales/ customer support staff. You will be in charge of handling prospective and current customer inquiries, help students to build their study program and guide them through the process from payment to arrival in Japan.
The work will mostly consist of responding to enquiries by email and other methods, preparing estimates, booking clients, and helping students in Fukuoka.
Working visa sponsorship is available.
Main Responsibilities:
-- Communication with potential clients in English primarily by email, sometimes in phone and in person
-- Input student information and manage schedules using Excel
-- Reception work helping students and customers
-- Communication with staff in Japanese
-- Other office and administrative duties
Required Skills:
-- Native-speaker or very advanced English
-- Microsoft Office Proficiency
-- Basic knowledge of typical office software
Welcomed Skills (not requirements):
-- Japanese (JLPT N3 or above)
-- Data management, sales experience
-- Other language ability
Salary/benefits
-- Location: Fukuoka downtown
-- Salary: starting from 200,000 to 250,000 yen per month depending on experience. Yearly bonus/salary increase available.
-- Contract type: after 6-month trial period, full-time contract (permanent contracts available)
-- Benefits: paid leave, transportation expenses, insurance, etc.
-- Working schedule: 9am - 6pm, with lunch break, Monday to Friday (limited flextime available) (No overtime work)
Vacation days off:
-- 2 days off per week (Saturday & Sunday)
-- 10 paid holidays after completing 6 months
