[***Full-Time Teacher Position in Kumamoto***]
Maple Tree International School in Kumamoto is looking for a fun and dedicated teacher for our English immersion preschool/kindergarten. We are a friendly and small-sized class setting school that takes Montessori and student-centered approaches to encourage students’ inquiry-based learning. We offer hands-on learning experiences and make learning fun and memorable!

*School Location: 1-chome, Sadowawa, Higashi-Ku, Kumamoto city,Kumamoto
*Teaching class: English-immersion preschool/kindergarten(We have various classes to teach such as literary, math, social studies, STEAM, P.E., computer science, music etc. )
*Students' age: 1.6 ~6 years old
*Working Days: Monday-Friday (*There are some exceptions according to the school calendar)
*Working Hours: 8:30-18:00 (60 min. breaks)
*Starting Date: Immediate or between January-March(*Negotiable)
*Monthly Salary:250,000- 270,000yen
*Social Insurances and Paid Holidays
*Regular Days off: Saturday & Sunday(There are some exceptions according to the school calendar)
*Holidays: G.W./ Summer Obon holidays/ Year-end & New Years Holidays
*Visa sponsorship

*Qualifications:
-Native English speaker
-Teaching experience preferably at International preschools, kindergartens, eikaiwa schools
-Bachelor's degree in Education or early childhood education, or any teaching license and certificate is a plus
-Basic PC skills(Word/Excel/Powerpoint)
-Conversational Japanese skill(Not necessary)

*Candidates must
-love working with very young children(1~6 years old)
-understand children's characteristics and how they learn
-be serious and passionate about teaching and education
-be hardworking, dedicated, punctual, polite, and have good manners
-be fun, friendly, and energetic
-be patient and supportive
-work as a team player
-have respect for the students, parents, other teachers, and staff
-have an understanding of Japanese culture, manners, and customs
-be currently residing in Japan
