A Pre Sales Solution Consultant at WorkForce Software is a key contributor to our sales organisation, as a Subject Matter Expert in our Workforce Management Solutions. With our world-class training, you will acquire deep understanding of our solutions, its place in the workforce management industry, and the skills to effectively position and demonstrate our product in large enterprise sales engagements. The Solution Consultant will research, and workshop client requirements, determine the solution that best fits those needs of the customer through collaboration with internal and external resources, and demonstrate the configured product to solve their unique business challenges. • In partnership with the WorkForce Channel Manager and our business Partners, strategically expand existing business and drive new business within Japan
• Conduct discovery and requirements gathering sessions with prospects
• Act as the trusted advisor by using your knowledge of prospects workforce management challenges then map those challenges to key software features to solve the prospects business issues and deliver a demonstration of our solution to the prospect
• Collaborate with Sales Partners, Services, and the Product team to create demonstrations based on a prospect’s requirements
• Conduct web-based and on-site customer presentations and demonstrations
• Effectively communicate the benefits of the software suite to prospective customers
• Provide detailed and timely responses to assigned sections of RFP’s
• Research and understand the market needs of new and existing functionality for all areas of our workforce management software
• Engage with internal resources including executives, sales, marketing, and other areas to understand the requirements and how new functionality will be positioned in the marketplace
• Manage multiple, complex, simultaneous projects
• Learn aspects of labour laws and how they affect employers
• Cross-train internal team members on products
• Educate clients on the best practices in deployment and implementation of workforce management software

• 30-70 % (varies throughout the year) International and Interstate as needed (currently no travel)

• Must have experience in Workforce Management / Human Capital Management / Payroll
• Understanding of wage related labour laws in Japan
• Must be fluent in Japanese and English language
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with a natural ability to empathise with clients and colleagues
• A positive attitude, a passion for IT and a mindset that can adapt easily to change
• The ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
• The ability to prioritise and manage time to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
