NOVA Holdings Co. Ltd. is looking for Assistant Language Teachers to teach English in elementary or junior high schools in Hino city, Tokyo from April 2021-March 2022. We are seeking an enthusiastic team-player who has a passion for teaching English and is professional in all aspects of behavior, as well as flexible, cheerful, and energetic.
・Be able to team teach and solo teach English lessons to classes ranging from 30 to 40 students.
・Assist homeroom teachers with constructing lesson plans and building curriculum.
・Participate in outside-of-class activities (Other subjects, Clubs, Sports Day, Culture Festival,
・Participate in student activities and join students during lunchtime and break time.
･Build relationships with students, faculty and the surrounding community.
・Native speaker of English
・Teaching experience (ALT experience preferred)
・Basic Japanese speaking ability (Conversational level or above preferred for elementary school)
・Valid residence/visa status
・Professional attitude, team-player, flexible, cheerful, and energetic

**Although not a requirement, candidates with a TESOL/TEFL qualification are preferred.
・12,500 yen per working day
・Regular working hours per day will be 7 hours including a 60 min break between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
・A transportation allowance of up to 1,000 yen per day will be paid to Employees living in
Hino city and 1,500 yen will be paid to Employees living outside of Hino city.
・Semi full time
(mostly 4 days per week)
・Days off correspond to the school calendar
・Contract term is from April 2021 to March 2022
