Imagine that you have been asked to do a lesson demonstrating the difference between simple present and present progressive. The students are in the first year of junior high school and have only been studying English for approximately two months. How would you demonstrate the difference in meaning between the two tenses without translating or using grammatical terminology? What topic would you discuss? What visual or other aids would you use? Your goal is to demonstrate the difference in meaning without students feeling like they are getting a grammar lecture.
Only candidates who pass this initial screening will be invited to come for an interview and demo lesson.
Thank you for your application.
