DESCRIPTION
Rainmaker, Inc. is a technology company with a mission to make a meaningful contribution to society by uncovering the potential and scattered needs of providers and consumers and effectively matching supply with demand. By doing so, we bring the blessed rain!

We are looking for talented English Content Writers to create content and copy for various media websites, including the website for our new mobile application. Rainmaker is currently working on an app called Callmart, a charged communication app. As a Content Writer, you will be writing articles for the Callmart website and these other media websites, as well as other English digital marketing content as needed.

No experience in marketing/copywriting is needed as this is an entry-level job, but we welcome candidates with experience writing content under pressure (for example, in university)! We also welcome candidates with outgoing and positive personalities, team players, and those willing to think outside of the box (what we call "Option C").

You will work directly with native English speakers, but in a Japanese environment with Japanese co-workers. For this reason, we ask that you have conversational Japanese. NO Japanese is needed for the work itself.

TRIAL PERIOD
Everyone at Rainmaker begins by working a fully-paid trial period before signing their contract. This period is meant to benefit both the candidate and the company; for the candidate, it's a great opportunity to get a feel for the workplace, meet your future coworkers, and try the job itself. The trial period will be 3-5 days, from 9:00 to 18:00 with a one hour break. You will be paid ¥1800/hour during the trial period, and your transportation costs to and from the office will be fully reimbursed (for those commuting from Tokyo, Saitama, Kanagawa, and Chiba).
